Congress History

The biennial Icograda World Design Congress has brought together the international community to explore current trends and thinking that shape the communication design profession.

Since 1981, Icograda has collaborated with Icsid and IFI to organise a joint Congress every six years that unites the design disciplines in shared dialogue.

In 2011, the inaugural IDA Congress replaced the Icograda World Design Congress.
