Icograda Executive Board
Icograda's Executive Board consists of individuals
who are duly nominated and elected by Icograda Member organisations at
the biennial Icograda General Assembly. Members of the Executive Board
serve in a volunteer capacity, donating their time and expertise to
further Icograda's mandate. Board meetings are typically held four
times a year in different locations around the world, usually in
conjunction with regional meetings, seminars, or other scheduled
Icograda or Member events.
Russell is a Senior Lecturer of Visual Communication at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and is an academic and practitioner of graphic design and filmmaking.
Don is currently Dean of the Graduate School of Advertising at Hongik University in Seoul and advisor for many institutions including the Korean Olympic Committee and the Seoul Metropolitan government.
Leimei Julia Chiu is the Executive Director of the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization and a Professor in the Department of Visual Communication Design at Musashino Art University.
Grégoire is a founding member of The Value Web, a member of the Accelerated Solutions Environment network, as well as a member of AIGA and AFD (Alliance Française des Designers) and a Regional Ambassador of Index: Design to Improve Life.
David is an author (Do Good Design), expert speaker, graphic designer, communications strategist, and typographer. His clients include IBM, Accenture, the International Space Station, the Canadian Government and the Aga Khan Foundation.
Iva is currently Creative director at Euro RSCG agency in Zagreb, working for many local and international clients. Her work has been included in many exhibitions and publications both in Croatia and abroad.
Jason Fan served as the President of Taiwan Graphic Design Association from 2006-2008, broadening the interfaces with more cross-disciplinary programs, and creating the bi-monthly Energy Bar to connect with experts from different fields.
David's experience encompasses a wide range of design disciplines including corporate identity programs, packaging, publication design, exhibition and environmental design. His most recent work in the area of interpretative design has much acclaim, especially his collaboration with indigenous cultures.
Omar Vulpinari is the creative director of the Visual Communication Department at Fabrica, the Benetton research center on communication founded. He teaches at the University of San Marino - University of Venice.
Xiao Yong is a renowned graphic designer and design educator, currently a professor at Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China and a visiting professor at University of Arts London.
Between 1963 and 2007, twenty one Icograda boards have donated their leadership skills and time to furthering Icograda's goals and objectives.
