The Universidad Autómna de Guadalajara is an institution of culture, science, education, art and technology at the service of humanity which seeks to educate at the highest level and fulfill students in intellectual, moral, social, physical and professional ways.

The Autonomous University of Guadalajara, located in Mexico, was first founded in 1953 and today is a leading institution in higher education, forming men and women capable of contributing to the welfare and prosperity of the community.

It is with this vision that UAG has extended its educational services to the southeast of our country, and since 1993 has established offices for assistance to students, parents, alumni and the region of Tabasco, which have benefitted from a comprehensive education and humanist who taught at our institution.

The strength of the Autonomous University of Guadalajara lies essentially in its graduates. UAG is a professional source of leaders in their respective disciplines whose presence dominates national and international agencies. Tabasco and the Southeast region of the country have a very important community of graduates, which is why the UAG since 2002 opened facilities in the city of Villahermosa, Tabasco, and initiated activities with the delivery of academic careers in two years UNIQUE systems (University in the Community). Starting in 2003, it began the construction of a University City in Villahermosa, in accordance with the parameters of quality and modernity that are characteristic.

Due to the success of the educational model of the UAG, and under its expansion program, it has now consolidated its presence and educational offerings in the Southeast region of the country, offering Undergraduate and Graduate programs that address the needs area, consistent with criteria of feasibility, quality and relevance.

The mission of our Graphic Design School here at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara campus Tabasco, México, is to prepare highly educated professionals in the field of the visual communications in order to fulfill and satisfy the need of the society by applying creativity, technology and vanguard design.

Our vision is to be the best professional choice when talking about teaching Graphic Design by offering professional graduates, experts in solving visual communication problems. We also aim to be considered the best source of university graduates, highly requested in the working field, leading the Graphic Design area.
