It is the vision of Dar Al-Hekma College to be a premiere institution of higher education for women in Saudi Arabia that will serve as a model teaching and learning institution for the Kingdom. Its graduates will be capable of bringing about positive change for the betterment of self, family, society and humanity, with the aim of serving and pleasing the Creator.
Dar Al-Hekma College is a private, non-profit institution of higher education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia whose mission is to provide selected degree programs of the highest quality to academically qualified women. The College fosters creativity and emphasizes the important role in society of women as the first builders of the family and the first educators of the nation.
It is the mission of Dar Al-Hekma College to be a creative learning community for students who are prepared to actively engage in the teaching and learning process. A preparation program is available to develop these essential capabilities. The College provides leading educational technology, learning resources and facilities to support its programs. Students are taught by highly qualified faculty and are provided a rich array of support services and activities to promote intellectual, social, and personal development. The College, as a learning community, is committed to the pursuit of continuous personal and institutional improvement.
Academic programs are offered in Arabic and English and have a strong foundation in general education, including Islamic religious heritage and civilization, as well as exposure to other world cultures.
The College awards bachelors degrees to students who successfully complete a four-year, college-level curriculum and associate degrees to those who successfully complete two years of a bachelors degree program. Program content, methods of teaching and learning, co-curricular activities and support services are integrated and focused on developing graduates who are competent in their chosen fields, committed to life-long learning and prepared to contribute to the betterment of their society and humanity at large.
It is further a mission of the College to offer continuing education and extension programs and courses to meet the needs of women in the community for professional development and personal enrichment.
