Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de Mexico

The firsts studies of Design in Mexico started at the University Iberoamericana 50 years ago. The Design Department is related to several productive sectors: visual applied communications, creative interactive media, multimedia, strategic thinking, art and culture, product innovation strategies, fashion and textiles and product design. The university offers four bachelor degree programs: Industrial Design, Textile Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Design, and a Master Degree in Design Strategy and Innovation.

They strongly believe that design is an important factor of social development and should become an integral part of the multicultural and multiethnic Mexico of today. Their students confront the actual problems of our country in an appropriate manner, by using alternative methodologies and trying to have an overall view of the social impact of their professional activity.
