Ahn Sang Soo to receive Icograda Education Award

Montreal (Canada) - Prof. Ahn Sang Soo, Head of the School of Graphic Design at Hongik University's College of Fine Arts, will be the recipient of the 2009 Icograda Education Award. Prof. Ahn was nominated by the Visual Information Design Association of Korea (VIDAK) and selected by the Icograda Executive Board from nominations received. The award will be presented on 26 October, during the first day of the International Conference at Xin: Icograda World Design Congress 2009 in Beijing, China.

Icograda announces Icograda Education Network Conference speakers

Montreal (Canada) - Icograda is pleased to announce its presenters for the Icograda Education Network (IEN) Conference, taking place this October, as part of the Icograda World Design Congress 2009 in Beijing, China.

The IEN Conference brings together the worldwide community of communication design educational institutions during the Congress. This two-day event will include invited and refereed papers. The top 50 selected papers will be published in book form and on the Icograda website following the event.

2009 Adobe Design Achievement Awards finalists announced

San Jose (United States) – After a successful round of judging from 5-7 August 2009 at the Adobe headquarters in San Jose California, the judges of the 2009 Adobe Design Achievement Awards (ADAA) have identified this year's finalists. The winners of the 2009 ADAA competition will be announced on 26 October 2009 at the ADAA awards ceremony, which will be held as part of the International Conference during the Icograda World Design Congress 2009 in Beijing, China.
