4th ICTVC, 2009, Cyprus

from 17 - 19 June 2010 the Department of Design & Multimedia at the University of Nicosia will be hosting the 4th International Conference on Typography and Visual Communication (ICTVC) with the general theme “Lending Grace to Language”. The Organizing Committee members invites proposals for a presentation or panel discussion for inclusion in the programme of the 4th ICTVC. The deadline to submit abstracts is 10 January 2010.

"Places to be" 2009, Brussels

"Places to be" is a call for entries organised by the European Network of Creative Cities focusing on interactions between human beings and urban design. Students are invited to to take part in the call for entries which is aiming to collect photographic works, videos, cartography, design, illustrations or other relevant elements which will enable the public at large to easily comprehend and visualise the concept of Human Cities. The deadline to send in the artwork is October 9th 2009.
