From 4-10 July, delegates from more than 10 countries came together at the Icograda Design Week in Daegu to explore the different interpretations of colour's value in contemporary design. The week was both an opportunity for sharing insights and developing friendship

International Conference

18 presentations by leading authorities from 10 countries over two days. The audience of 600 had the opportunity to interact with the presenters through moderated question and answer sessions. The Vice Mayor of Daegu hosted a welcome reception and dinner that showcased traditional Korean culture.

Student Workshops

450 students participated in 3 days of sessions presented by 21 workshop leaders. The outcomes of the sessions were showcased during a closing reception at the Daegu Design Center.


Throughout the week, the International Color Poster Exhibition, Color Marketing Fair and International Student Color Exhibition were on display. During the week, an international jury selected 10 student winners:

Cultural tour

Touring Gyeongju, the capital of the Shilla Kingdom (BC97-AD 935) and a designated UNESCO heritage site offered delegates a unique opportunity to understand the region's history and contribution to Korean culture.
