EXPLORE CHINA: JOIN IN A PRE-CONGRESS WORKSHOP
A unique feature of Xin: Icograda World Design Congress 2009, will be a series of pre-Congress workshops to take place between 19-24 October 2009 in a dozen cities around China.
The project welcomes international designers, design educators and design students to join their Chinese counterparts in a unique tour to explore local Chinese art and design. Workshop participants will work and live with local Chinese designers and students. The results of the workshops will be collected, exhibited and printed during the Congress in Beijing.
International delegates are responsible for their travel costs to Beijing. Workshop hosts will provide return local travel from Beijing to the host city, as well as accommodation and medical and life insurance for the duration of the workshop.
The deadline for workshop leader applications is 10 September 2009.
The deadline for workshop student applications is 30 September 2009.

All applications for workshop leaders will be processed and the applicants will be contacted by the host institution. The final selection of workshop leaders will be made by the host institution.

Neither Icograda, CAFA, or other Congress organisers accept any liability for any disputes of whatever nature between any workshop leaders and/or participants and any workshop host institutions.
The congress organisers reserve the right at anytime, with or without notice, at their absolute discretion and without necessarily giving any reasons thereof, to cancel or postpone any or all of the workshops, to change venues and/or timetables, to make any change or amendments to the published particular of any of the workshops and to withdraw any invitation to attend any of the workshops.
