The EIDD Design for All competition, organised by Design Center Bologna, is dedicated to capturing the differing perception of EIDD work in the field of Design for All. The purpose is to promote accessibility and social inclusion, such as with the idea of Paul Hogan: "Good design enables, bad design disables". Design for All means using design like a social inclusion instrument to encourage full access to all the instruments on the market.

Awards

The award scheme comprises three categories: posters, institutional videos and guerrilla marketing.



The following prizes shall be awarded:

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize for each category
• special prize for students
• 20 selected entries in each category.
• Icograda Excellence Award

Exhibition

The selected entries will be exhibited at Accademia Albertina Belle Arti among the initiatives of Torino World Design Capital 2008, and during the Icograda Design Week from 17 October - 17 November 2008.

The exhibition shows works that have participated in the international competition of EIDD Design for All, selected by an international jury.

Inauguration of the event, complete with a DJ set, will take place on 16 October at 6:00 pm.

Organisers

The organisational aspects of EIDD Design for All Europe are the responsibility of IIDD Design for All Italy and Design Centre Emilia Romagna.
