With the aim of celebrating and promoting European design, the EDConference and EDAwards ceremony will take place in Arena Filmcity at Sihlcity in Zürich, Switzerland.

The Conference will run from 15-17 May, and the Awards Ceremony will take place on 17 May.

EDAwards

The ED Awards is the comprehensive annual awards organisation acknowledging the best in European graphic design, illustration and multimedia design. Their objectives are to promote and raise standards for communication design throughout Europe as well as properly honour and award people who invest their passion in design. It is based on the collaboration of several prestigious communication design magazines in Europe who support and promote the event. Representatives of these magazines will compose the jury.

Background

The main objectives of the ED-Project are:
