About the design
A controversial autobiography by a World War II concentration-camp
prisoner. The book contains a 300-page novel set in archaic-looking
typeface plus a biographical part illustrated with original documents,
photos and handwritings. Nedjelko Spoljar's most successful book to
date, published in European Design Annual 2000 and included in several
design exhibitions.
About the designer
Nedjeljko Spoljar is principal
and owner of Sensus Design Factory, an award-winning design firm he
founded with his wife Kristina in 1996, in Zagreb, Croatia. Their
two-person studio has been since developing projects for some of the
finest Croatian cultural and financial institutions, publishers and
paper merchants. His work has been included in numerous design
exhibitions and published in European Design Annual book, Print and New
Moment magazine. He is a self-taught designer, member of the Croatian
Designers' Society and ULUPUH, Croatian Association od Applied Arts
Artists.
