About the design
Poster, created for Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan, which is the first contemporary dance company in any Chinese speaking community. "Portrait of the Families" choreographed by Lin Hwai-min, is a 100 minutes collage of movement, voice and slide projection, spawned from the history of Taiwan, and exploring human pathos.

About the designer
Liu Kai was born in 1957, and brought up in Tihua's street, one of the oldest districts in Taipei, Taiwan. In 1978, he graduated from The Fu-hsin Trade and Arts School, majored in arts design. He has established his own arts studio since 1984.
