About the design
The
client is active in cultural and social exchange between Iran and
Switzerland. The logo is an expressive combination of the two
countries' flags. The colors red and white are shared by both nations
and the white cross (from the Swiss flag) symbolizes the cooperation
between the two countries.
About the designer
Iraj
Mirza Alikhani was born on 2 November, 1956, Tehran. The artist
received a BA in Visual Communication, and established the Ashna
Advertising Agency in 1991. Alikhani is an agent & distributor of
Graphis Inc. (Switzerland) in Iran, a member of the Iranian Graphic
Designers Society (IGDS), the Association of Advertising Agencies
(IAAA), the board of directors of the Iranian Advertising Film Festival
"Baal", and the Art Directors Club (NY, USA ).
