About the design
Pepperjack is a new premium wine brand. Positioned as genuine, honest and well made, it is intended for an educated audience who know, and are relaxed about choosing wine.

CPd were briefed to design labeling, which would reflect the characteristics of being contemporary but genuine, confident and unpretentious.

It had to embody some of the best aspects of the contemporary Australian lifestyle... confident, casual, friendly.

The brand identity is based on a corkscrew, which appears as a graphic device in the brand mark and in a rich, mellow photograph on the main label...

Designing packaging for the Pepperjack Cabernet Sauvignon has proved to be a rewarding experience for CPd. Their design has been awarded two major international awards. Winning the top award in the packaging category at the recent Singapore Design Awards and a bronze in the packaging design category at the prestigious CLIO Awards in New York.

About the designers
Chris Perks Creative Director/Principal
Chris formed CPd in 1992 following five years as Director of Design at one of Australia's leading graphic design companies. CPd is now at a point where it is one of the fastest growing design consultancy in Australia. With over 20 years experience in graphic design, Chris has worked on design programs nationally and internationally.

Alan Morrison Senior Designer
Alan Morrison spent six years as a designer/project manager at Emery Vincent Design prior to his association with Stuart Pettigrew Design, where he spent four years as Senior Designer specialising in corporate literature. Alan has gained his extensive experience working with some of Australia's biggest private companies, Victorian Government Departments and State Government Business Enterprises.
