About the design
This work is a surrealistic view of the socio-political situation of countries in the south east of Europe. The journey of countries in transition to European Union membership is unpredictable, very complicated, with many barriers and temptations. Sometimes one barrier means more barriers, one door may be more doors.

About the designer
Tarik Jesenković was born in 1967 in Sarajevo. He is a member of the ULUPUBIH (The Association of Applied Arts of Bosnia & Herzegovina). Tarik completed a degree at the Applied Arts High School, in the Department for Art Fitting of Books and Newspapers, after which he graduated from Academy of Fine Arts (ALU), in Graphic Design.

Currently he works for the publishing center El Kalem, and he is the Art Director in ODJEK magazine. Tarik now lives and works in Sarajevo.
