About the design
These two posters typographic works. While trying to emphasize on the disruptive, drilling and sharp side of war, on the contrary, Cekic tried to show the serenity, calmness and gentle feeling of peace.

About the designer
Cekic was born in 1960 in Turkey. He was graduated from MSU Fine Arts Faculty Graphic Design Department in 1984. He has worked in his own studio since 1992. His works have found place on several publications. He won many national and international awards.

In the 1995-97 season, he undertook the task of acting as the design advisor at the Istanbul Metropolis Municipality city Theatres and produced the visual designs which these theaters needed. He is presently continuing to teach at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphics Department.
