About the design
The international idea of having free scientific lectures and discussions in a cafe was initiated by Universities and schools in Tampere, Finland. The emblem for the posters was designed to resemble a brain in a coffee bean, and was included in posters for the events.
About the designer
Born in 1951, graduated from the Institute of Industrial Arts, Lahti, in 1974, has since been doing advertising and graphic design. Nowadays, pursues artistic ambitions and photography.
