About the design
This 92-page, large format book was produced as a tribute and gift to all those involved in designing and building the Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne. The challenge of marrying an elegant environment designed for women, with the somewhat masculine processes of building construction, resulted in a book of intriguing contrasts.




About the designer
Ian has spent 25 years designing in Australia, Sweden and the UK. He is currently Design Director at Watts Design in Melbourne and on the Design Institute of Australia, Victorian Council. Ian has collected several national and international awards for his book designs.
