This book jacket design was created for the book named Elämänkaarikirjoitus - Seasons of the human life. The book is a guide for middle age and elderly people to help them keep a record of their lives by writing about their experiences from childhood to old age.
About the designer
Pirjo Toroskainen has a Bachelor of Cultural Studies from Lahti Polytechnic, Institute of Design. She has worked as a graphic designer for the past twenty years in a number of different areas.
Toroskainen has been a Package designer in packaging industry, Graphic designer at the Gummerus Publisher's in Helsinki, Graphic designer/Art director in different advertising offices. She is currently working as a freelancer designing such things as book jackets. Toroskainen's logo design for her own design firm, Booksign, is published in The big book of logos 5 by David E. Carter.
