About the design
This is the official poster design for an international poster exhibition CANCER, HOPE AND LIFE, bringing together participants from different countries. This event is organised by the San Ignacio de Loyola University Art & Design program.

Rafael Vivanco states: "The idea was to play with elements transmitting  hope and life so I decided to play with a sun rise and different rainbows representing leaves, so as a group we can see a flower that is a symbol of life. The important reason is not to be afraid of this terrible disease as with prevention and an appropriate treatment we can fight it. The poster is dedicated to all the people who fight without losing hope."

About the designer
Rafael Vivanco is a Graphic Designer with a BA in Education from San Ignacio de Loyola University. Vivanco is currently the Academic Coordinator of San Ignacio de Loyola University Art & Design program and a professor of the Faculty of Arts at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru.
