About the design

A competition submission for Culture Night 2009, a night of free cultural events across Ireland in seven different cities. This one was for Dublin.
The concept was to apply a 'Culture Vulture' to each city and town, incorporating distinct regional identities and characteristics that would emerge through their feathers, flight movements, colours and personalities.

About the designer

Oisín Share was born in Australia in 1986 has lived half of his life there, and the other half in Ireland. He graduated from the Limerick School of Art and Design in June 2009 and has moved to Manchester, UK, where he works as a graphic designer mainly for small arts based clients as well as cultural institutions and festivals. He was shortlisted for the Institute of Designers of Ireland Graduate Awards 2009 and has work featuring in 'The Best of Young Irish Designers' exhibition in Kilkenny, Ireland in the later months of 2009.
