About the design

Bencium was commissioned to create a brand and corporate identity for a Swiss fashion brand. SuitArt, launched on 25 September 2009 in Zürich, is a Swiss network of tailors making custom-made suits, shirts, trousers and the likes. SuitArt serves both ladies and gents out of their lovely shops in Basel, Frick and Zürich. The goal of the designer was to find a form for the logo that was unique, stands out and can be easily recognised. The work had to suit large and small sizes in different materials and textiles. The form originates from the letter S.

About the designer

In 1995, Bence Csernak started education at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria, and graduated with excellent grades in 2000. After studying and freelancing in Vienna, he started a studio in Budapest in 2001. He has since worked for European and Hungarian clients in several different industries. As fo October 2007, Bence Csernak has been teaching web design at Visart Art Academy in Budapest, the Hungarian branch of École d’Art Maryse Eloy, Paris.
