About the design

University of Zagreb has recently finished redesigning their visual identity. Several different parts of University came together to produce Mozart's Magic flute, so our studio was asked to implement the new brand in this project for the first time. Our goal was to create a visual which was elegant and a bit formal, but still playfull and imaginative. The assignment also proposed the new corporate type created by typographer Nikola Djurek, and corporate colours.

About the designer

Ana Kunej was born August 11th 1981 in Zagreb.
Graduated from School of Applied Arts in applied arts and design in 1999.
MA in graphic design, Design Studies, in University of Zagreb in 2006.
Established a graphic design studio kuna zlatica in 2006.
Member of Croatian Designers Association and Croatian Association of Applied Arts Artists since 2008.
