Montreal (Canada) - Iridescent: Icograda Journal of Design Research has appointed Teal Triggs as Supervising Editor. Teal will serve as supervising Editor for the 2011-2013 term overseeing the journal's activities and aligning it with international research standards.

Taipei (Taiwan, Chinese Taipei) – Delegates to the Icograda General Assembly 24 elected an historic Executive Board to lead the Council in its 50 anniversary term. Representing more than 200 organisations in 67 countries globally, the 10 person board will be led by Leimei Julia Chiu (Japan), who becomes Icograda’s first female President.

Montréal (Canada) – Istanbul, Turkey, has been unveiled by the International Design Alliance (IDA) as the host city of the 2013 IDA Congress. The city was selected unanimously by the IDA Executive Committee based on the strength of its bid, led by Istanbul Technical University (ITU) during an international competitive bid process.

Swinburne, a member of the Icograda Education Network (IEN) since 2003, is a highly respected design school based in Melbourne, Australia.
