Icograda General Assembly
The biennial General Assembly of Icograda members establishes the direction of the Council. Members consider and vote on policy and programmes, elect that Executive Board for the next two-year term, ratify the admission of new member organisations and fix the location of the next General Assembly. All Members may propose items for the General Assembly agenda, provided the request is received in writing two months before the date of the General Assembly.Best practice papers
Icograda co-ordinates international best practices that are endorsed by its membership. These include:- Regulations and best practices for organising design award competitions
- Regulations and best practices for serving as a juror of design award competition
- Soliciting work from professional communication designers
- International conditions of contract and engagement for communication designers
- Model code of professional conduct for communication designers

Awards
Member organisations are eligible to nominate individuals for an Icograda Achievement Award and the Icograda Education Award to recognise individual leadership and accomplishment.Endorsement
Each year, Icograda endorses a select group of activities internationally that advance its objective to promote the value of communication design. Endorsed events demonstrate that they enhance the standards of design, professional practice and ethics. Icograda Member organisations are entitled to one free endorsement each year. Endorsed initiatives receive enhanced promotion including profile in the Icograda calendar, news stories and listing in the Icograda eNews. Each Icograda endorsed activity has the opportunity to award an Icograda Excellence award as part of its prize structure.Networking
Member organisations are encouraged to connect with other Icograda member organisations worldwide and build international networks. The Member Directory provides contact information to encourage the exchange of design related programmes, projects and events with other Member organisations within the Icograda network.Promoting your organisation

eNewsletters
Icograda eNews is a bi-weekly email newsletter containing news and views from Icograda members and the broader communication design world. Alternating weeks feature Icograda eventnews and edunews. Icograda eNewsletters reach an international audience of approximately 30,000 individuals. The eNewsletters provide members with a channel to communicate their activities to the international design community.Icograda Design Weeks and Regional Meetings
Icograda Design Weeks are an excellent opportunity for Icograda Member organisations to meet, network and exchange ideas. A Regional Meeting is organised as part of the programming of each Icograda Design Week. The Regional Meeting is an invite-only event that brings together Icograda Members and stakeholders to discuss policy, direction for the profession and strengthen Icogradaʼs network.Programmes and activities
