Durban Institute of Technology
DIT's programme of action dwells on the decade ahead – to push beyond the intellectual frontiers already breached. A vibrant seat of higher learning, it takes pride in its prominence on the terrain of state-funded technological higher education institutions.

The pioneering spirit is a hallmark of DIT. Its heritage was the intellectual tradition and technological prowess that had been honed over the collective life of almost 150 years of the erstwhile Technikon Natal and ML Sultan Technikon.

With internationally recognized degrees and diplomas from bachelor through to doctoral level, its alumni enter the world as highly sought-after graduate professionals. DIT also places great emphasis on community service and community development through a variety of programmes and projects.
