Abe Rosenfeld
President of GDAI
Abe Rosenfeld born in Berlin.
Abe is a graphic designer and communications design strategist, a Fellow of the Graphic Designers Association of Israel (GDAI) and the President of the Association since 1999.

After some informal practice of graphic design when he was in the IDF, Abe won a major North American competition for a scholarship in advertising art. He studied in New York, then continued practicing advertising design in the USA for a few years before returning to Tel Aviv. He was Art Director for OK. Advertising Agency for eight years prior to establishing his own Studio. Abe has won many awards and his work has been published internationally.

As Secretary General of the GDAI, he was in 1985 one of the organizers of the GDAI International Congress in Haifa, and was the chairman of the 13th Icograda Congress in 1989 at Tel Aviv University. The theme of this Congress was Graphic Design Through High Technology?

Abe was appointed to the Icograda Board in 1986, elected Vice President at the 1987 Icograda General Assembly in Amsterdam, and re-elected at the General Assembly in Tel Aviv 1989, served on the Board until 1991.
