Yarom Vardimon

Born in Israel and schooled in England, Yarom has contributed to the international design community through his various professional and academic endeavors.

Yarom studied in England at the LCP, Chelsea College of Art and the University of Westminster, and has been a Professor of Visual Communications since 1980. He was in charge of the submission of the undergraduate program and Masters Degree program in Israel, and was Past Head of Department of Visual Communications at Bezalel Academy, Jerusalem. Presently, he is the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Design Faculty at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, Ramat Gan.

As the owner of Vardimon Design, Tel Aviv, Yarom specializes in corporate identity, branding, architecture related communication design, packaging and posters. He has been a lecturer on Design and Communications, The Creative Workshop at Tel Aviv University School of Architecture. He has been Chairman, Speaker and Committee Leader at international conferences and symposiums, and a visiting lecturer in many design colleges in Europe and USA.

- Elected to AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale) in 1982
- Board Member and Director of New Media since 2000

He has judged many international design competitions and has won over 90 prizes in design, including the Icograda Design Excellence Award.

Yarom's works have been displayed at major international exhibitions and can be found in museums and collections around the world. His works also appear in books and publications in Europe, USA and Japan.
