In 2010, ddi, the Spanish Public Corporation for the Development of Design and Innovation, merged with ENISA - National Innovation Company, SA (Empresa Nacional de Innovación S.A.). ENISA has assumed the commitments and activities of design promotion from ddi.

ENISA is a public company belonging to the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, through which the Directorate General of Small and Medium Enterprises, develops an increasingly important part of their policies on financial support entrepreneurs and SMEs.

ENISA is committed to a global, advanced concept of innovation - innovation as a source of competitive advantage for companies and a systematic process to create and improve differentiated products and services suited to market demands.

ENISA is member of others international design institutions such as Bureau of European Design Associations (BEDA), International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID) and Design Management Institute (DMI).
