Hrvatsko dizajnersko društvo / Croatian Designers Association
The Croatian Designers Association (Hrvatsko dizajnersko društvo - HDD) is a non-government, non-profit, voluntary professional association founded at first as Society of Designers of Croatia in 1983. The mission is to promote the common professional and social interests of their members and the systematic creation of conditions to improve the professional practice in design.
Its goals include the development and affirmation, promotion and development of design in Croatia, as well as advocating the status and interests both of the profession and HDD's members.
HDD instigates the affirmation of meaning, impact and value of design in Croatia and works on the establishment of rules and regulations in professional practice.
