Milano (Italy) - The 210 posters selected by the 2008 Good 50×70 jury as the best of all this year’s entrants are now online. In total, 2710 posters were submitted in response to seven briefs: Child Mortality, Global Warming, Human Rights, Hunting, STDS, War Victims and Water Scarcity.

Montreal (Canada) - Icograda endorses the fifth edition of the Croatian Design Exhibition, organised by the Croatian Designers Society.

Zagreb (Croatia) - The ZGRAF 10 jury has made the final awards from more than 500 entries from 23 countries. The ZGRAF 10 exhibition includes 185 pieces from 16 countries. The award winners were recognised that the exhibition opening on 6 May.

Barcelona (Spain) - Based on the response and requests from the design community, Design for the World has extended the deadline for participation in the 'Push-Pull' pictogram project to 15 June 2008. The project is soliciting submissions to develop a 'push-pull' pictogram to fill a gap in the codified systems of pictograms.

The main topics are: human rights, the environment, refugee and immigration issues, racism, disease prevention, war and violence, abuse of women and children, illiteracy, social isolation, etc.

La Habana (Cuba) - “Cuba Grafica”, one of the three signature exhibitions presented in La Habana during Design/Culture: Icograda World Design Congress 2007, has received the 2008 National Prize for Curatorship. The award is the highest granted in Cuba to art and design exhibitions.
