Beijing (China) - Online registration for Xin: Icograda World Design Congress 2009 Beijing and Pre-Congress Workshops is now open. Delegates from around the world can now register to attend the Pre-Congress workshops from 19-24 October and the International Conference and Education Conference, from 24-30 October 2009.

Toronto (Canada) - Applied Arts has announced the Jury for the Design & Advertising Awards 2009, one of the largest and most-respected shows of its kind in Canada. Winning work is reproduced in the November Design & Advertising annual, and kept as a valuable reference by the Applied Arts readership.

It seeks provide new international perspectives on current issues and offer an online outlet for graphic designers to express visual opinions that may never see ink on paper.

Trnava (Slovakia) - The call for entries for the Trnava Poster Triennial (TPT) 2009 is now open. From now until 15 May 2009, designers, authorial teams or design studios and students of Fine Arts academies can submit their designs for posters or websites.
