Melbourne (Australia) - agIdeas is working in collaboration with Icograda to solicit papers for the agIdeas 2011 International Design Research Lab. Design researchers are invited to submit abstracts that address the brief, "Where is design practice at today?" by 1 February 2011. Selected papers will be published on Iridescent: Icograda Journal of Design Research.

Saint-Étienne (France) - The city of Saint-Étienne, France, has joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a City of Design. The announcement was made at the opening of the Jacques Cartier Conference on 23 November 2010.
