Colour us green(er)

In October 2009, Icograda adopted its first framework on sustainability. Under this new initiative, we are working toward making our events greener. Here's a few ways we've put this into action in Vancouver:
  • The Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) has a strong commitment to economic, environmental and social responsibility
  • The VCC's 'scratch' kitchen uses fresh local ingredients without additives, avoids disposable utensils and dishes, and donates leftover food to local charities.
  • Our official conference hotels are within walking distance of the main venue
  • We're asking all delegates to 'bring your own' conference bag
