AGDA National Biennial Awards exhibition in New York
Until 20 February 2009, the winners of the 9th AGDA National Biennial Awards 2008 will be on display at the AIGA National Design Center in New York. Including the finest design work from Australia produced during 2006 to 2008, as chosen by a distinguished panel of judges from (AGDA). This exhibition is the definitive snapshot of design from down under, showcasing everything which makes Australia unique and world class.

A new book by graphic designers Bryony Gomez-Palacio and Armin Vit showcases the work of female graphic designers around the world. Published by How Books, Women Of Design: Influence and Inspiration from the Original Trailblazers to the New Groundbreakers examines the last 50 years of design by dividing the featured designers into three groups: Groundbreakers, Pathfinders and Trailblazers. Gomez-Palacio and Vit are co-founders of UnderConsideration, a growing network dedicated to the progress of the graphic design profession and its practitioners.
