Icograda Design Week is our signature event series, organised and hosted in different locations around the world. In this issue you'll find a wrap up of our first Design Week hosted in the Arab-speaking Gulf region, as well as an introduction to our 2010 Icograda Design Week schedule.

Xin: Icograda World Design Congress 2009 will bring together the global design community in Beijing, China, from 24-30 October 2009. This will be an historic occasion, marking the first time in Icograda's almost 50 year history that a Chinese member organisation will host the Congress and General Assembly. Opening on United Nations Day, the Congress is one of Icograda's key initiatives to highlight the use of design as a medium for progressive change internationally.
