étapes s'adresse aux acteurs du graphisme et aux professionnels de la communication visuelle, de l'image et des différents secteurs du design (objet, interactif...). Créé en 1994 par Pyramyd NTCV sous le titre étapes graphiques, devenu
étapes: en mai 2001, le magazine a fêté son 100e numéro
en septembre 2003.
