Exhibition of designer Aleksander Maćašev opens in Ljubljana

Ljubljana (Slovenia) - An exhibition showcasing the work of communication designer Aleksander Maćašev, entitled 'High Anxiety', will open at NLB Galerija Avla in Ljubljana on 19 March 2008, 20:00.

The event has been organised by International Design Media Participant, Emzin Institute of Creative Production, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia and the City of Ljubljana, Department of Culture.

The designer Aleksandar Maćašev will be present at the opening. Born in 1971 in Bečej, former Yugoslavia, Maćašev graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1998. He works in a variety of visual culture disciplines, including graphic/web design, web/net art, mass-media art and visual communications. He has exhibited and lectured at home and abroad, and his works have been published in books and magazines around the world.
