"Don Watt really brought the whole art of design to the forefront of marketing, and made people realize that it is a critical component of building brands." stated Lynda Torneck VP, ACLC, in Strategy in 2006.

His accomplishments were numerous and included the design for the Canadian Flag. Don's design, featured a realistic representation of a red maple leaf, flanked by two solid blue bands representing 'from sea to sea', has, until recently, been credited to a design committee.
